I am a proud Aboriginal woman from the Dunghutti Nation my mother’s Country, Kempsey NSW.
I also have ties to the NSW South Coast through my grandfather Chris “Hackett” Stewart, so needless to say I am related to most of the South Coast.
I have been involved in Aboriginal affairs all my life, personally and through my mother’s teachings.
I have worked with the Commonwealth and NSW State Public Service for over 45 years, all within Aboriginal affairs issues.
I have four wonderful children and four fabulous grandchildren.
My dream in my lifetime is to see real change for Aboriginal people.
